ESTERO BAY NEWS POSTS ARTICLE YESTERDAY ABOUT THE WALK BRIDGE DISPUTE BETWEEN THE CITY OF MORRO BAY AND LOCAL AREA RESIDENTS.

Because of its poor design, the vehicular bridge over Chorro Creek has only one lane with no room for pedestrians. It also is not lit during evening hours and frequently floods out every year.

Estero Bay News reporter Neil Farrell wrote an article about the walk bridge dispute. We encourage all interested parties to this article. Once a law suit is filed, there will no doubt be more news articles written.

The resident who lives on a property just to the east of the walk bridge is having a conversation with his attorney tomorrow. He’s is inheriting the property from previous owner Steven J. Williams who lived on the property in excess of thirty (30) years.

Mr. Williams passed away at his home on July 1, 2022. Much of the history of the walk and vehicular bridges were passed on by Mr. Williams. There is certainly more to come on this story so stay tuned.
